MS Outlook is the most widely used email client application in the millions of Windows installations worldwide. Vitalsoft developed an Outlook plug-in that allows the user to export Outlook contacts, schedules and email messages to a database. The export feature is available as a php module integrated with the Outlook application.

On an E-Governance initiative from the state government, Vitalsoft Managing Director expounded the concept of data standardization, which was received openly in the governemnt departments. It paved the way for implementation for a pilot program which successfully used the identified data elements as web service in a birth certificates application.
